>Wedding Pics the beginning

>

Here are a few pictures from the New Years wedding (since Mark in DE so nicely asked about them). This was the small gathering of friends we invited for the ceremony, this picture was taken by the Justice of the Peace. The ceremony was very short and at one point was interrupted by our lovely pooch Jonny wondering “whats goin on over here why aren’t you paying attention to me.”
We had a wonderful time and feel honored that our JP from the civil union was very delighted (and almost got into a knock down brawl with the hubby over compensation) to perform our ceremony.
As soon as I get the other pictures from our photographer friend (you see him in the picture) I will post those as well.
Here is the Wedding Party, well ok most were just onlookers, The guy with the camera took the pics and the Alternative Lifestyle Assistant in the front next to me held our rings, though this time not in her cleavage like she did our Civil Union.

These are our dearest friends Clam and Beer, I was honored to had been asked to speak at their Civil Union. For our Civil Union Clam gave the first toast and WoW’ed everyone with his Toast about the Gay Agenda which was mysteriously absent from our refrigerator door.

The hubby has for all our other ceremonies ordered flowers from Hawaii so I’t wouldnt be A wedding without them.

>Bowling Week #1

>So they finally updated the bowling scores from our first week and well, there were some suprises and some not so suprises.

The first surprise was the fact I increased my Average by 15 points since last May. GO ME!
The second surprise is my Team – Alley Oops have the high Team Scratch Game.
The first non Surprise was we are in last place.
I know I know it’s only week #1.
We played Team Holy Splits (damn lesbians) and although we had more pins than them we didnt win a single point this week because their Handicaps are so high.
This sunday we play team Scared Straights (these are the 3 kids and their friend of one of our friends). Should be an interesting match-up
Thats all for now report back next week!

>The Countdown has begun

>The Big New Years Wedding is fast approaching and will be here in only 4 days. So to get in the spirit let’s relive some food porn from the first 2 ceremonies.

This is the cake we had for our first ceremony way back on Dec 31 2003. This tasty morsel was made by out good friend Corey who you can find over here.

After our Committment ceremony the great state of Connecticut decided to pass a law allowing Civil Unions. So on Dec 31 2005 we had our second albeit first legal Ceremony.

This cake came from our favorite bakery just down the road. This is also where we will be getting this years cake from.

Well that’s all for now. Hope everyone is enjoying their post holiday weekend.

PS only 8 days until the big gay bowling league starts. you can all expect Tues or Weds posts with the latest rankings and average of team Alley Oops.

>Christmas #5

>This tree was 1 of 3 that the hubby and I made quite a few years ago. This year we replaced the standard string of blue lights for more economical LED (which means I can have them on more since the power usage is lower)
